Conditions of participation: Each customer can win at most once. A winner receives a Bomann table grill. The winners will be randomly raffled and notified by mail from 19.07.18. Afterwards it is possible to specify a separate delivery address. A payout of the prize in cash is not possible.

Delicate spare ribs

Ingredients (for 4 servings):

  • 2 1\2 kg ribs (spare ribs)
  • For the marinade:
  • 1 cup of tomato ketchup
  • 1\2 cup of honey
  • 1\2 cup of apple juice or juice of a fresh orange
  • 2 tbsp sugar, brown
  • 1 1\2 tsp ginger powder
  • 2 onions, diced, possibly more
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 dashes Tabasco, maybe more (depending on your taste)
  • 2 tbsp Worcester sauce
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp mustard, medium
  • 1\2 tsp paprika powder, sweet
  • 2 tsp pepper, black
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 5 tbsp red wine or apple cider vinegar

Preparation:

Working time: approx. 30 min. Rest period: approx. 3 hrs.

Put all ingredients for the marinade in a saucepan, stir well, bring to a simmer and simmer for about 15 minutes.

In the meantime, wash and dry the spare ribs. Peel off the thin skin on the underside of the bones. Then divide the spareribs in portions of 3-4 bones each.

Spread large pieces of aluminum foil and put a portion of spare ribs on each side and brush in thickly with the marinade on both sides. Then pack in the aluminum foil. If there is any marinade left, put it aside.

Now put the packaged spareribs with the bone side (underside) on a baking sheet and cook for 2.5 to 3 hours in the oven at 150 degrees. Then remove and let rest for about 10 minutes.

Then take out the spareribs and put them on the grill. If there is still marinade, brush the spareribs with it and grill crispy brown.

Fiery chili-honey barbecue sauce

Ingredients (for 2 servings):

  • 150g tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp honey (forest honey)
  • 3 tsp parsley, freshly chopped
  • 1\2 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic, paste or very finely chopped
  • 1 - 1 1\2 tsp chilli powder, hot
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp Ajvar, spicy

Preparation:

Working time: approx. 8 min.

Ketchup and honey stir well together. Gradually stir in parsley, spices and ajvar. Cold place until consumed.

Tip: Peel 1/2 of shallot, finely chop and add.

The sauce is a great gift for barbecues and goes well with many types of meat and sausages!

Cool drink (Ipanema)

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

  • 1 lime
  • 4 tbsp cane sugar, brown
  • passion fruit juice
  • Ginger aleI
  • ce, crushed Ice

Preparation:

Working time: approx. 5 min.

Quarter the lime and pound in the glass bottom. Add cane sugar and crushed ice and fill the glass with half juice, half ginger ale.

This alcohol-free cocktail is especially refreshing on hot summer evenings!
